Company Overview

Since 1975, Vantage Builders Ltd. has grown immensely in the construction industry and gained a strong reputation for quality workmanship.  Vantage Builders Ltd. was started by Hugh Ziprick and Jim Davis and is now owned and managed by Hugh Ziprick, Darren Davis and Walter Gegolick.  The company currently employs over 50 people during peak season and has crews consisting of carpenters, metal building system erectors, concrete workers, framers and bin erectors.

Each crew at Vantage has the necessary safety training required for every job.  Vantage Builders Ltd. is a COR (Certificate of Recognition) company, issued on July 29, 2002, through Alberta Construction Safety Association.  Vantage also provides Workers Compensation coverage and liability insurance for every project.

Originally, Vantage Builders Ltd. began working with grain bins and metal buildings but over the past 33 years, the company has evolved into a multi-faceted general contractor.

Owners

Hugh Ziprick Partner/Sales
Hugh Ziprick is one of the original founders of Vantage Builders Ltd.  He and his wife Linda have three children, Hal, Paul and Caryl and five grandchildren all in the Vegreville area.  Hugh never passes up an opportunity to spend time with his grandchildren, go hunting, camping or fishing.

Walter Gegolick Partner/Sales
Walter Gegolick, also known as "Sonny," worked for Vantage Builders Ltd. for 29 years before becoming a partner in 2005.  Walter has three children, Dustin, Dayton and Davin and lives in Vegreville with his wife, Edie.  Walter's hobbies include restoring vehicles and snowmobiles, fishing, camping, and motorcycling.

Darren Davis Partner/Manager
Darren Davis, the son of original Vantage Builders Ltd. owner, Jim Davis, became a partner in 2005.  Darren and his wife Colleen reside in Vegreville with their three dogs, Theo, Lola and Zeus.  Darren and Colleen enjoy camping, fishing and rooting for their favorite hockey and football teams.
